Online Reading is Changing the Way Ours Brains are Wired

Our brains our plastic and can change throughout our lives.  They now appear to be changing to better accommodate the way that we read online, skimming through lots of information, rather than the deep reading skills that require more in-depth processing.

While researchers are still trying to better understand the difference between reading print and digital, it appears that print lends itself to greater comprehension and understanding.  They are beginning to fear that school-aged children may be stunted in these areas as their brains learn to "read" online.
